Naomi Melville, Production Manager

Pronouns: She/her

Major: BA Theatre Acting Emphasis

Minor: Screenwriting

Joined: Fall 2021

Naomi Melville has been involved in the student-led theatre scene since she was a freshman, doing everything from acting, directing, writing, to now producing at USC.

Naomi’s toxic trait is that she literally cannot stop making things. When she’s not actively involved in a project, she’s taking steps to independently produce one of her own, resulting in the two interactive and two virtual theatre pieces she’s put up in the past few years.

She enjoys exploring different creative processes for developing projects, and loves to sprinkle unconventional aspects into seemingly typical pieces of theatre. Naomi is a winner of the California Young Playwright’s project, and an alumnus of California State Summer School for the Arts and Center Theatre Group’s Emerging Artist Theatregoer collective, and credits these experiences as the major contributors to her identity as an artist. She’s excited now to support her fellow student theatre artists here at USC!
