Helen Culpepper is a content creator, concert harpist, and avid dinosaur enthusiast. They’re guided by a strong belief in entertainment’s power to inspire active change in modern audiences and deliver meaningful messages to the wider world. As a grant writer and teaching artist for Fringe Benefits Theatre, they create satirical shorts punching up at problematic power structures and devise original lesson plans for students exploring advocacy through the performing arts. While studying at USC, they’ve founded Ludus Remedium, USC’s most Bob Ross loving comedy troupe, and also exercise leadership in Dorothy’s Friends Theater Company, QueerCut, Performing Arts Committee, and, of course, the amazing Aeneid Theatre Company. They hope to establish a career in edutainment, expanding kids’ capacity for empathy and understanding academia through accessible media; a Gen Z Bill Nye!
